CenturyLink to Acquire Qwest Communications

Struggling satellite TV provider, Qwest Communications is set to be acquired by CenturyLink, the result of which will create the third largest landline phone provider in the US.
The deal is valued at $10.6 billion and includes the CenturyLink assuming a massive $11.8 billion of Qwest debt.
